From twerk queen to Black Swan! Taylor Swift's new video 'Shake It Off' will make your day MusicFIX Blog by Adam Bub Aug 19 2014 8:44AM

Love life jokes? Check. Adorably awkward attempts at twerking? Check. Not-so-graceful ballerina moves? Check.

There is just no way you can hate Taylor Swift after watching her new music video for her horn-infused comeback anthem, 'Shake It Off'. Take a peek above… we guarantee you'll crack a smile.

The 24-year-old pop star is obvs having the time of her life mocking her dancing skills while singing about "shaking" off "the haters".

But Taylor's also having a laugh at her public image with lines like, "I go on too many dates/ But I can't make them stay/ At least that's what people say / That's what people say."

'Shake It Off' is the first single from Taylor's new album, 1989, named after the year she was born.

The blonde superstar announced the single and album today through a live stream at the top of New York's Empire State Building.

"The inspiration behind this record, I was listening to a lot of late '80s pop," Taylor said. "The idea of endless possibility was kind of a theme in the last two years of my life."

Tay-Tay wrote and produced 'Shake It Off' with Max Martin and Shellback, the same team behind 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' and 'I Knew You Were Trouble'. Talk about a surefire hit!

She'll also appear at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards. We hope she pulls out some of those dance moves!

1989 is out October 27.

Watch: Britney Spears' lip-synching fail… to Sia's vocals! MusicFIX Blog by Yasmin Vought Aug 18 2014 11:25AM

Oops she did it again…

Britney Spears has been called out yet another time for her shoddy lip-synching but this time it's super awkward.

Fans were quick to point out that Britney's main vocals to 'Perfume' didn't sound entirely like her… but just like 39-year-old Aussie singer Sia Furler.

Judge for yourself in the Instagram video above!

Other supporters argued they could hear remnants of Brit's voice in the background, but the prevalent vocal was definitely Sia's acoustic cover of the pop track. Awks!

"You can hear her and Sia's voice lmfao dying," one fan wrote alongside the Insta-vid.

Another user added: "If you listen closely to the performance video, you can make out some of Spears' vocals under Sia's more charactered voice.

"That's because, most likely, Spears uses Sia's track as an in-monitor guide when she sings. Only this time it was put into the house mix, making for an embarrassing accident."

Embarrassing indeed! But this isn't the first time Brits has been caught out for a lip-synching fail at her current Vegas residency.

But let's not forget her worst yet, which was at the 2007 Video Music Awards. Check it below!

Her manager Adam Leber responded back in June to the many fan accusations of Britney's miming.

"To put on the show that she puts on, it's virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does," he told Medium.com. "She's singing on every song, basically, when she has the ability to sing. There's no way you can dance for 90 minutes straight and sing the entire time."
