Drugs, absent Zayn and awkward answers: Is this the worst One Direction interview ever? MusicFIX Blog by Adam Bub Nov 18 2014 12:28PM

We'll file this one under "too awkward for words".

One Direction went on the US Today show as a foursome, claiming bandmate Zayn Malik was too sick to fly to the US for their new album promo tour.

Host Matt Lauer shot straight from the hip and asked if Zayn's absence had anything to do with those persistent drug abuse rumours doing the rounds.

Watch as Liam Payne gives the most unconvincing answer ever while the rest of the boys squirm in their seats. It's a car-crash moment if there ever was one.

Zayn has since told The Sun: "I'm really angry and upset by what was said. I was really ill at the weekend, that's why I couldn't fly to America."

The 21-year-old said he will join the boys to promote their new album Four when he's "fit enough". Yikes! We hope fans aren't left waiting forever...

Back in May, Zayn and bandmate Louis Tomlinson were caught on video allegedly rolling and smoking a joint in a car during their 2014 stadium tour.

Just so you know, the Twitter hashtag "#GetWellSoonZayn" is trending worldwide, if you want to share your wishes (or conspiracy theories).

The S Club 7 reunion happened... go on, you know you want to watch MusicFIX Blog by Adam Bub Nov 16 2014 4:57PM

It's the moment we've waited 12 years to see: S Club 7 have finally reunited.

The late '90s/early '00s British pop group brought their S Club party back for the BBC Children in Need concert in London on Friday night. They packed a four-song medley into five minutes, featuring their hits 'Reach', 'Bring It All Back', 'Don't Stop Movin'' and of course, 'S Club Party'.

Alright, we know you're secretly singing along to at least one of those pop classics right now. Watch above!

All decked out in sparkles and neon raver gear (pink-haired Hannah Spearitt and shiny-short-wearing Tina Barrett, we're looking at you), S Club seemed to be having the time of their lives back on stage.

While many fans were excited to see their fave super-group reunite, some tweeted their frustrations about the performance.

"I'm slightly unnerved that Rachel now seems to be a slightly better live singer than Jo," one fan wrote.

"One of the bad things about ageing is when people younger than you start looking old. #SClub7Reunion," another observed.

"They've had a decade to practice how to dance and mime at the same time. Obviously not been practising hard enough #SClub7Reunion," tweeted another fan.

But on the whole, this tweet captured the fan reaction best: "This is simultaneously the best and worst thing I've ever seen #SClub7Reunion."

A 2015 tour is rumoured to be in the works. Start campaigning for them to come to Oz now.
