Little Birdy have revealed that their third album will take the name Confetti and have released an exclusive download to celebrate. The band recorded the music over a 12-month period and self-produced the album, which is scheduled for release in May, with the assistance of engineer Steven Schram.

Katy Steele describes the inspiration behind the title: "'Confetti' just fell out of my mouth, the word literally just came out of nowhere". It is not known whether or not she had recently attended a wedding. The opening track from the album Brother is available to download from the Little Birdy website for a limited time, with the first single expected in February.

Watch: Charli XCX's dangerous driving in 'Doing It' video... and how it nearly killed Rita Ora MusicFIX Blog by Adam Bub Jan 21 2015 9:52AM

It's the pop video that could have gone horribly wrong for the two young divas... but luckily Charli XCX and Rita Ora's clip for 'Doing It' is here in one, shiny, colourful piece.

But it almost didn't turn out that way, as 22-year-old British singer Charli revealed to Metro this week.

"I nearly killed both of us on the set by crashing this Barbie truck into the middle of the desert," Charlie said. "There were no air bags. It was this old truck. It was a death trap."

Now the clip has landed, TheFIX spies a look of genuine horror on Rita's face while Charli revs it up. Watch above!

If you're getting Lady Gaga/Beyonce 'Telephone' vibes from the video, then you're on the money. Like that famous clip, the two leading ladies are on the run, Thelma and Louise style.

Of course, not without a few male strippers, mechanical bulls and teeny-tiny shorts along the way too. This is a pop video, people.

'Doing It' comes hot on the heels of Charli's recent hit 'Break The Rules' and Rita's collaboration with Iggy Azalea, 'Black Widow'. Will 2015 be their year?

WATCH: Retro video of Beyonce rapping from 90s is everything MusicFIX Blog by Amy Nelmes Jan 20 2015 6:30AM

This is exactly what we need to kick off #throwbacktuesday , a vintage video of Beyoncé rapping from the 90s. Just check out that hair!

The previously unseen clip, featuring queen Bey and the rest of the Destiny's Child girls in Lil' O's video for his song 'Can't Stop'.

We don't know how this sneaked past our keen Beyonce radar back in the 90s…but here you go FIXers, check it out above.

Released in 1997, the single didn't really muster-up that much interest, with the pop starlets yet to make a big dent on the music industry.

Fast forward 18-years and well, that's a whole different story.
