Anxiety speaks of the enormous pressure placed on the young singer-songwriter (real name Pip Brown) after the mammoth debut of her self-titled debut Ladyhawke, which received high acclaim and earnt Ladyhawke the "Breakthrough Artist" award at the ARIAs in 2009.
After focusing on the 80s synthesisers of her first album, Ladyhawke returned to her first love and the core of classic rock 'n' roll the electric guitar.
The result? A collection of powerful tracks oozing textured guitars, synth bleeps and smooth hooks created in collaboration with long-time producer Pascal Gabriel.
"I've made an album that I'm really proud of, so I just can't wait to start playing with my band again, and touring, and having some fun," said Ladyhawke.
"I can’t wait to get back into it."
We can't wait either!
