In conjunction with his upcoming US tour, Aussie singer/songwriter Gotye will release an album of 'Somebody That I Used To Know' remixes.

The enormous success of the cult single has seen it be covered, remixed and altered an extraordinary amount of times.

The compilation has ten remixes of the song including mixes by Tiesto, M-Phazes and Dan Aux.

"[There are] over 1, 000 unapproved remixes of this song scattered across the internet," said the press release.

"This release collects most of Gotye’s favourite versions in one place."

This comes after Gotye said he was growing tired of his massive hit.

"Sometimes I feel like I'm a bit sick of it. My inbox, on any given day, has at least five covers or parodies or remixes of it and there's only so many times you can listen to the one song," he told NME earlier this year.

As well as his new remix album, Gotye will also be releasing his ARIA award-winning album Like Drawing Blood for the first time physically in the US. His US tour will have support slots from fellow Aussies including Missy Higgins and underground electro-maverick Jonti.

Is Gotye flogging his hit song to death with this latest LP?
