Recorded during the sessions for his classic album Bad, 'Don't Be Messin' Around' will be released on the album's 25th anniversary re-issue, which is due out on September 18.
With piano sounds and electronic Latin beats, 'Don't Be Messing Around' has all the traits of a good MJ track: his soul-lifting vocals, the intense energy he injects into every phrase and a wash of positivity. The track would have been out of place for the tight funk of Bad, but it’s still killer.
Even in death, MJ's legacy as a game-changing pop icon lives on.
