The 21-year-old former star of Zoey 101 has recently revamped her music career, after her teen pregnancy at the age of 16 caused her to take a break.
'I Look Up To You' sings the praises of her sister and her heavily publicised life.
"You can imagine who I wrote it about," said Jamie Lynn to the audience.
"I hope y'all like it a lot."
The song's lyrics sum up Britney's personal life and that of Jamie Lynn, both girls have had tumultuous personal lives and been in the public eye:
"Scared little girl, living in a big old world,You've outgrown your room, it happened way too soon.They took away your innocence.We forgot our strong defense."
Jamie Lynn debuted in Nashville last November, receiving critical acclaim for her performance and songwriting. She is planning to release her first album this year.
