Shot by photographer Iain Macmillan in 1969, the image of the Beatles striding across a zebra crossing towards EMI Studios (later named Abbey Road Studios in honour of the album) is arguably the most iconic photo ever taken of the group.
The new photographs appeared on The Phobia Tumblr page, and show the band between shots relaxing on the steps of the studio, moments before they made music history with their famous walk.
Abbey Road was the final album recorded by The Beatles, featuring classic songs such as 'Come Together', 'Here Comes The Sun' and 'Oh! Darling'.
