Watch: X Factor's Christina Parie on Mel B, Reece Mastin and her anthem for 16-year-olds

Spice Girl Mel B took Sydney schoolgirl Christina Parie to sixth place on last year's X Factor Australia, and now the pint-sized rock chick is the latest reality show runner-up to launch a budding music career.

The bubbly 16-year-old, who could pass as a third member of the Veronicas, chatted with TheFIX's Kylie Speer about her debut single, the Pink-like teenage anthem, 'Sixteen and Unstoppable'.

"It's basically an anthem of being young. Just saying, 'I'm unstoppable, I can do whatever I want because I'm 16', and enjoying life while you're young, because you're only young once," Christina said.

Christina revealed that she recently dropped out of school to focus on her music career.

"I am fully focussed on music. And if I ever need my education, I can always go back, do a course, whatever. But right now, this is what's happening."

Watch our full interview above to see what Christina has to say about her mentor Mel B, and the possibility of a collaboration with X Factor winner Reece Mastin.
