Watch: No Doubt's first music video in almost a decade

They're back! No Doubt have ramped their reunion up a notch, releasing the truck-tastic new video for 'Settle Down', their first single in almost ten years.

The colourful clip reimagines the band as, of all things, truckies, driving separate tricked-out rigs to a reunion gig.

So just how did they come up with the concept?

"I think [bassist Tony Kanal] came up with the idea that we should do something with trucks," director Sophie Muller tells Rolling Stone. "The idea is they are all driving to meet after having had their separate lives over the last 10 years."

But if you're wondering what the song means, don't ask No Doubt front-woman Gwen Stefani

"I hate talking about what the songs are about because I feel like I already put so much into the song, of myself, but I think that song, and a lot of the record, is just about being overwhelmed by so much going on and how to balance all of it," Gwen tells E! News. "That'd be a good way of summing it up."

Well, it looks like the time away has served them well — especially Gwen, who continues to age backwards.

No Doubt's new album Push and Shove is released September 21.
