The dance music duo's new album of remixed Elton classics, titled Good Morning to the Night, has taken the UK charts by storm, holding off Maroon 5's Overexposed to take the number one spot.
It's the legendary singer's first chart-topper since he released The Very Best of Elton John in 1990.
Pnau's Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes have been applauded for creating eight killer dance tracks that retain the original sound of some of Elton's most popular '70s pop classics.
"As surprising as it may seem for some sceptics, with Good Morning to the Night Pnau have produced eight unpredictably brilliant pop chunks, even retaining the same originality and pop shine the songs had in the first place," one review said.
Elton has had six previous number one albums in the UK, but we imagine after 22 years out of the top spot, this has got to feel pretty good.
The legendary singer signed Pnau to his management company Rocket Music in 2010 after listening to their 2007 self-titled album.
