Aussie pop diva Ricki-Lee tells TheFIX about her journey through hard times to having it all in this exclusive new video diary.
"I'd gotten so fed up and tired and so worn down. I had bad people around me that I was constantly fighting with," she reveals.
"So moving to Sydney [from the Gold Coast] gave me that breath of fresh air to think for myself again, I felt a little more independent and I felt like I was a bit more in control of my life."
While her much-publicised slim-down was one huge achievement, the gorgeous 26-year-old says that leaving her record company was the "toughest thing I've ever done".
Now, with a new record deal and the hit singles 'Raining Diamonds' and 'Do It Like That', Ricki-Lee's third studio album Fear & Freedom finally lands on August 17 (see album cover here).
