Carly Rae Jepsen's global hit 'Call Me Maybe' has reached pandemic status.
The contagiously catchy come-on has been parodied, covered or mashed-up by everyone from Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez to the Cookie Monster to a pooch named 'Corgi Rae Jepsen', to this week's latest version from the US Olympic swimming team (watch below). And that's just a handful. Is there no end in sight?
Will Ferrell has weighed in on the viral craze with an order to put an end to the song, and/or its endless video spin-offs.
After doing a TV interview on CBS' This Morning to promote his upcoming comedy The Campaign, the 45-year-old Anchorman star left a cryptic note that didn't read "here's my number, so call me maybe".
