'It's about my vagina': Courtney Love calls out Lana Del Rey about 'Heart-Shaped Box' cover

Heads up, Lana Del Rey. Remember that cover of Nirvana's 'Heart-shaped Box' you performed in Sydney last week? Well, turns out you were singing about Courtney Love's lady bits.

Courtney took to Twitter to alert Lana to the fact that Kurt Cobain wrote the song as an ode to her, erm, heart-shaped box.

"@LanaDelRey you do know the song is about my vagina right? Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back," she wrote.

Courtney also claimed she helped Nirvana write the song. About her own vagina. Yes, it’s a little weird.

"@LanaDelRey on top of which some of the lyrics about my vagina I contributed," the 48-year-old Hole singer tweeted.

It's pretty clear that Courtney was thoroughly amused by the whole incident.

"@LanaDelRey so umm next time you sing it, think about my vagina will you? Lol," Courtney signed off.

Lana has yet to respond to Courtney's tweets but you can check out her Sydney rendition of the song in the video above.
