That's right, the American band totally pre-empted the success of pop phenomenon One Direction 11 years before the boy band formed on The X Factor UK last year.
In a ground-breaking discovery made by pop culture site BuzzFeed, Blink 182's 2000 clip for 'All The Small Things' parodies a boy band on a beach ... on the same beach as One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful' clip.
But we've spotted a suspiciously similar-looking beach in a 1999 clip by British boy band Westlife (of Brian McFadden fame) for 'If I Let You Go'. Perhaps Blink got their 1D intuition from there?
