Psy's 'Gangnam Style' is well on its way to becoming the most-viewed YouTube video of all time, racking up over 400 million views.
But why? What is it that has made the quirky clip so addictive? Is it the song? The visuals? Both?
One YouTube user decided to find out, removing the audio to see how the video fared without its earworm tune.
Moto2h left the video in tact, layered Psy's acapella vocals over the top, and then, for fun, dropped in sound effects to give us a sense of how it all sounded when Psy was filming the clip. It's good fun!
The original clip has attracted 432 million views and is the ninth most-viewed clip. It's still got a fair way to go before it topples number one (Justin Bieber's 'Baby', 787 million views), but we'd be fools to underestimate the powers of 'Gangnam Style'.
