Justin Bieber has a reputation for being a prankster, well, he's lived up to it and then some, pranking the entire world with a fake theft scandal.
On Wednesday, Justin tweeted that his computer, which had "a lot of personal footage" on it, had been stolen during a show in Washington.
Everybody assumed "personal footage" was Justin's delicate way of referring to content like the fake nude pic that leaked online soon after.
Fans were equal parts afraid of and excited about what would leak next, when the alleged thief, Twitter user @gexwy, began threatening to release damaging footage on Friday.
Well, Friday came, and as it turns out, it was all an elaborate hoax to promote the singer's new video with Nicki Minaj, which was released on Friday.
The pool party-themed clip begins with a title card that states: "In October of 2012 three hours of personal footage was stolen from musician Justin Bieber. The following footage was illegally uploaded by an anonymous blogger."
The clip, which you can preview above, was directed by Justin himself.
