Fans have spoken out against new tour dates for One Direction's Australian visit next year. Originally scheduled for September, the new dates now clash with the start of HSC and VCE exams.
The news came as a blow to many eager fans, as the news spilled out across Twitter. The backlash was immediate, with ardent fans "actually crying" and accusing ticketing outlet Ticketek of being "high".

According to the New South Wales Board of Studies, 2013 HSC exams begin on Monday, October 14 and finish on Friday, November 8.
The new tour dates begin on October 16 in Melbourne before heading up to Brisbane on the 19th, Sydney on the 23rd, and back to Melbourne for two more nights on October 28 and 29.
A representative from Sony told the Sydney Morning Herald that "efforts were made to avoid a conflict with the exams but it was unfortunately unavoidable".
