The Collective may have come third in the X Factor, but after our chat with Trent Bell, we found out they’ve lost none of their drive to become number one.
The boys recently tweeted that if their single reaches number one on the charts, they will wax bandmate Jules' chest.
"Yep, that's the plan!" Trent confirmed.
"We are really hoping it happens, it will be hilarious. If it gets to number one we're definitely waxing him, so make sure you get voting!"
The 22-year-old gained a reputation during the show for being "the hot one" in the boy band – but he seemed humbled by the idea.
"Well that's the first I've heard of it!" he said. "Uh... amazing?"
You see, this wasn't always the case. The Queenslander admitted he wasn't popular with the ladies in his days at Kirwan State High School in Townsville.
"I actually didn't have a lot of time to be popular with the ladies in high school – between footy, being the school captain, and hockey," he admitted. "Plus I wasn't the cool jock type, more like the cute one!"
Well there's plenty of time to catch up now Trent! Now that he's arguably one of the most sought-after pop blokes in the country, we asked what he would look for in a relationship.
"Trust, mutual understanding, and someone that you just really enjoy hanging out with," he said.
Seems like a catch to us!
So how has his short time in boy band land changed his perspective on his career?
"I wouldn't change this group for anything, " he said. "It's true that I originally wanted to be a solo performer, but these guys are like my brothers now."
The group are performing at Optus 'Carols for a Cause' events in Sydney's Pitt Street Mall today and Brisbane's Queen St Mall tomorrow, with their mini-album hitting stores this Friday.
