Mariah Carey arrives in Australia next week – and her touring team had better be prepared to deal with her infamous diva demands!

Going by the rider requirements from her 2010 US tour as uncovered by The Smoking Gun, Mariah's room must be set at "about 75 degrees [Fahrenheit]" (just under 24 degrees Celsius) and the decor must meet her specifications.

The 42-year-old diva demanded in the rider that a lamp be provided so that "harsh lighting may be turned off" in her backstage bathroom, presumably for a more pleasant toilet experience.

Finally, she required two "vases [of] white roses" and for her dressing room furniture to be in plain colours only, with "no busy patterns - black grey, cream, dark pink all fine."

That's all for the decor, but the artist's culinary tastes must also be adhered to.

Mariah famously requested "chilled Cristal champagne" to swig with "bendy straws" in previous tours, but her tastes have changed slightly over the years.

Instead the pop singer required a bottle of "Opus One Cabernet Sauvignon" (worth up to $300) and "bottles [of] chardonnay — chilled" for her swigging needs, along with Pellegrino sparkling water, protein drinks, soft drink, fresh fruit and cheese.

The diva will be supported on her nationwide tour with Australia's Got Talent winner Andrew De Silva and Aria award winner Anthony Callea.

Mariah's hubby Nick Cannon is also rumoured to be making an appearance on stage.

The tour, hyped by production manager Steve Scanlon as "one of the biggest shows of the year," kicks off on QLD’s Gold Coast on January 1, 2013.
