Robin Thicke defends Miley VMAs performance: 'It wasn't sexually charged at all'

Robin Thicke has finally commented on THAT performance.

Defending his racy VMAs stage show with Miley Cyrus, the 36-year-old claimed that he "didn't feel anything sexual about the performance. I thought it was silly and funny, she was being humourous and naughty, but it wasn't sexually charged at all". Watch his explanation above!

Speaking exclusively to Star Magazine, the 'Blurred Lines' singer added that Miley and him "knew what we were getting ourselves into".

"We were like, 'OK, if you touch me with your foam finger all over my crotch, obviously a few people are going to have something to say about this!" he laughed. "But that was the whole point… to excite and provoke and entertain."

Married man Robin says his wife "loved it" and had no remorse over her husband "daggering" (tandem twerking) with the 20-year-old starlet.

Miley's dad Billy Ray Cyrus has also commented on his daughter's shocking antics, most recently her video for 'Wrecking Ball', where she appears naked and makes out with a sledgehammer and other inanimate objects.

He told Entertainment Tonight that to him, it's all about the music. Watch here to see his interesting response about Miley's "sheer God-given talent":

Hmm… we just don't think his achey, breaky heart really understands.
