Will.i.am told TheFIX of his plans for the Blue Mountains songstress after The Voice finale on Monday.
"I have to switch gears now, wrangle songs and clear her path," he told us.
Anja hinted yesterday she was working on a single with the US Blacked Eyed Peas star, tweeting: "We did it @iamwill! Looking forward to the single!! @thevoiceau #recording #will #winner #teamanja."
News Ltd reported that Anja's Delta single would be scrapped from her winner's album, which contains 11 tracks of Anja's Voice performances and other covers.
Anja's self-titled album is out on August 1.
