When GaGa took to the stage at the White Party in Palm Springs, she explained to the roaring crowd that 'Poker Face' is a reference to the expression she pulls when she's having sex with a man, but wishes she was having sex with a woman.
How intriguing! Looking over the actual lyrics to 'Poker Face', it doesn't appear that the song is about wishing you were a lesbian. Lines line "I wanna roll with him/A hard pair we will be" and "I'll get him hot, show him what I've got" don't seem to have much to do with girl-on-girl action. But surely Lady GaGa wouldn't say something sexual just for the sake of it, right?!
I wonder if there's a secret meaning to GaGa's other hits 'Just Dance' and 'Love Game'...?
