The round half of Gnarls Barkley always expected his expletive-riddled ode to a gold-digging ex-girlfriend to be an internet hit. But with radio demanding a slice of the action the rapper washed his mouth out with soap and reluctantly released a cleaned up version - 'Forget You'.
"I hate it," Cee Lo told the Chicago Sun-Times of the second version he was asked to record. "No, hate is too strong a word. ... I don't hate it. It's not as good, but it is politically correct. After the fact, though, 'Forget You' just doesn't cut through."
But really who cares what he says when anger has never sounded so joyful. This version is definitely SFW.
