Beyoncé's show-stopping performance of new single 'Run the World (Girls)' soon made it irrelevant whether anyone actually likes the song and the notoriously private star gave a glimpse into her private life calling hubby Jay-Z her "best friend" during her acceptance speech for the Millennium Award.

The Bieber and Eminem each picked up six awards while other big winners include The Gaga, Riri, Mumford & Sons, Taio Cruz, Taylor Swift and Usher with three apiece.
