Music Review: Foo Fighters & Robbie Williams Robbie's appeal lies in the chorus. Rock DJ, Let Me Entertain You, Angels - a verse is just a means to a middle for Mr. Williams. His last album lost the chorus and truckloads of fans along the way.

Video: Ministry of Sound's raunchy new tune Aah, another Ministry of Sound song, another raunchy video clip.

Titled 'aNYway', the track is by Ducksauce and appears to be influenced by the Patrick Swayze/Demi Moore classic Ghost — if Ghost was, like, 100 times sexier. (I don't recall Patrick slipping his hand inside Demi's bra in the movie. Or the two of them crafting a huge penis-shaped thing out of clay. Hmmm...)

Check out the clip in the full post.

The new Nat Bass: Rogue Traders unveil lead singer Rogue Traders have revealed their new frontwoman... almost 18 months after Natalie Bassingthwaighte quit the band.

Sheesh, they sure took their sweet time finding a replacement!

Sydney singer Mindi Jackson has been named as the band's new singer — just in time for the release of their number single 'Love in a War', which will start trickling onto radio stations on November 20.

Sydney-born Mindi has MySpace to thank for her job in the ARIA-winning, chart-topping group: even though she's been singing since she was barely out of nappies, she didn't get her big break till Rogue Traders founding member James Ash discovered her on the social networking site.

I hear that Mindi won't hesitate to sing Nat's trademark hits like 'Voodoo Child'. That could stir up a bit of tension in the Australian music scene (... I hope. Bring on the ARIA Awards red-carpet catfight!).

Australian Idol: top 2 It's time for another episode of this wretched show. Hurrah!

The group routine — if you can call three singers a group — begins with the opening bars of 'The Final Countdown', a song I will forever associate with Gob from Arrested Development. But then it morphs into a medley of the top three's performances throughout the season: Stan does 'Purple Rain', James does 'Crazy', and Hayley does 'Somebody Told Me'. And then it really does end with them all singing 'The Final Countdown'.

And now it's time for James to be eliminated. That's not how Andrew G introduces it, but — come on. The first Idol through to the grand final is Stan. (Which I just accidentally mistyped as "Satan", heh.) (Note to Stan's fans: please don't bother pointing out that this is evidence that I hate him, and I should be fired or whatever. I don't care.) That leaves Hayley and James, and of course Hayley is also through to the final. Of all the not-very-surprising eliminations this season, that was probably the least surprising.

James remarks that Idol is the best thing he's ever done in his whole life. Lucky he's only about 12, or that would be pretty sad. He adds that before the competition, he used to play restaurants and pubs to only two or three people. I hope going back to that won't be too hard on him. (I kid, I kid.) (Sort of.)

Tonight's guest judge is Michael Buble, the most charming man in the universe. In his first 10 seconds on stage, he displays more energy than the Maddens and Pete Wentz had in a whole episode.

Read up on all the performances in the full post.
