Spice Girls want to reunite... again My first thought upon hearing news of a possible Spice Girls reunion was, "Oh great, this'll give those bitches another chance to snub Australia."

(Yeah, I'm still bitter they cancelled the Australian leg of their reunion tour, thus denying me the chance to relive an adolescent fantasy.)

Geri "Ginger" Halliwell talked up another Spice Girls reunion on British TV this week, saying that she, Mel "Scary" Brown, Mel "Sporty" Chisholm and Emma "Baby" Bunton discussed the possibility over dinner recently.

Victoria "Posh" Beckham couldn't attend — she was plugging her fashion line in New York City — but she reportedly texted her support for the reunion.

"We always talk about creative plans," Geri said on the TV show This Morning. "Whatever happens afterwards is a bonus. Right now, I'll be honest: we are gathering information about a possibility... [but] when you are evolving a plan, you don't want to share it with the world."

It's not exactly a secret if you talk about it on television, is it, Geri? I guess the Spice Girls must all be getting desperate for a few more easy bucks or something.

Ladies, all might be forgiven if you tour Australia next time around...

Last original Sugababe quits Every time the Sugababes release a new single they seem to have a different line-up, so it's not that much of a surprise that the British girl group's members have changed yet again.

Keisha Buchanan, the last original Sugababe — fellow founding members Mutya Buena and Siobhan Donaghy either quit or were kicked out years ago — has left the group.

Exclusive video: Whitney looks like a 'Million Dollars' Everyone knows the recent years of Whitney Houston's life have been a little, er... tumultuous. I won't go into detail, but let's just say the focus hasn't exactly been on her music career. (If you didn't know this, it's time to come out from under that rock of yours.)

But despite cruel rumours about her downfall — at one point the tabloids even claimed all her hair and teeth had fallen out (gross), and that she'd ruined that spectacular singing voice — Whitney is back, looking and sounding like a million dollars.

Which is appropriate, as her big new track is called 'Million Dollar Bill'. The chic clip harks back to Whitney's glamorous days, proving the 46-year-old is still a sexy star with a soulful voice (and a full set of teeth and hair to match).

She is fabulous, you guys. Check out the video in the full post.

Australian Idol: Top 10 - top 10 hits "Top 10 hits"? Isn't that the theme of pretty much every episode of this show?

The top 11 kick of the episode with a rendition of Journey's 'Don't Stop Believing', a song you may remember from the premiere episode of (the super-amazing new TV show) Glee (which I love). Coincidentally, the cast of Glee is in the audience tonight! You can tell they're watching the Idols sing their song and thinking, "We did it better".

The bottom three is Sabrina, Kim and Casey. OMG! This is the closest we've ever come to finally exorcising Sabrina, but unfortunately she's safe — to the surprise of no one, Casey is gone. In fact he's so gone that he isn't even allowed to sing again like Ashleigh was last week. Ya burnt, Casey.

Brian McFadden is guest judge. Bring it on, you Irish boofhead!

Kanye West disses Taylor Swift at VMAs Those of you who've studied French will know what I mean when I say, "Kanye West is a total shower". For the rest of you Francophobes, let me explain.

At the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards, Taylor Swift won the award for best female video for her clip 'You Belong With Me', defeating Beyonce's much-parodied 'Single Ladies'. She heads up onstage to deliver her acceptance speech. So far, so good.

But THEN! Mid-speech, Kanye storms onstage, grabs the mike, and declares that Taylor shouldn't have won the award. "Yo Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'll let you finish, but Beyonce has one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!"

And then he left, leaving a mortified Taylor onstage and an equally mortified Beyonce sitting in the audience. Awkward. (To her immense credit, Taylor didn't tell Kanye to eff off, like most sensible people would've done.)

I happen to agree that 'Single Ladies' is a spectacular video, and better than 'You Belong With Me'. But still! Kanye West is such a French shower! (And a gay fish, too.)

In pictures: MTV VMAs red carpet Don't ask who was at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. You're better off asking who wasn't in attendance.

With a guest list that included Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Lady GaGa and Katy Perry (and that's just for starters), this year's VMAs lent new meaning to the term "starstudded".

And when the stars gather, it always sets the fashion world on fire. Check out what some of your favourite musical stars wore to the VMAs in our red carpet gallery!

Australian Idol: Top 11 - rock week I hope you're ready to rock! Rock royalty Suzi Quatro opens the show with a rousing performance of 'Devil Gate Drive', and man — she really does rock. Though I'm not sure about the epic mullet she's sporting.

So then it's time for the first elimination of the year. Everyone I spoke to this last week wanted Sabrina out, but it's not to be: the bottom three consists of Casey (der), Ashleigh (huh?), and Tim (nooooo Australia how could you?!?!). Luckily, he's safe. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of Ashleigh, who's booted.

SHOCKER! She accepts it gracefully, but you can tell she's devo. There are two factors to blame for her elimination: she sang first last week, which is often the death slot; and her rendition of 'Miss Independent' was, frankly, snooze-worthy. I guess you might say she's "independent" of the show now, har har har.

After a montage which reveals that Suzi has always had really bad hair, the top 11 begins! Read the full post to find out exactly what happened...

The Beatles remastered

To celebrate the release of the digitally remastered versions of The Beatles albums, we take a look at the evolution of the band that rocked the world – all the way from neat kids in the 1950s to bearded hippies as the Age of Aquarius took hold in the late 1960s.
