Jackson’s cause of death likely to be ruled homicide

Following the raid on the Houston office of Michael Jackson’s personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, court documents revealed that prescription medication, Rolodex cards, computer hard drives and more were removed as investigators continue to search for “evidence of the offence of manslaughter,” CNN reports.

Eddie Van Halen recovering after hand surgery

Eddie Van Halen is said to be on the mend after undergoing surgery to treat increasing pain in his left hand. “During the last leg of our tour, I started developing pain in my thumb and my pinky. I didn’t think much of it at the time,” the guitarist says. “It got progressively worse to the point that about three months ago I wasn’t able to play at all. My pinky and my thumb were totally locked up and felt like there was something broken.”

Jane’s Addiction Cancels Australian Tour

The reunited Jane’s Addiction have canceled all their upcoming Australia tour dates as drummer Stephen Perkins requires treatment for an elbow infection, the band revealed in a press release. After experiencing swelling in his elbow following the Jane’s European tour, Perkins has been admitted to Los Angeles’s Cedars-Sinai Hospital for the next few days so doctors can observe and diagnose the drummer while also administering antibiotic treatment. Perkins is expected to make a full recovery, but the band’s trek down under had to be called off.

Warner Music and YouTube still at standstill

YouTube and Warner Music are reportedly still at work on a new contract that will bring the major label’s catalogue back onto the video service, Reuters reports. YouTube hit the mute button on videos featuring music by Warner artists like Madonna and Green Day after WMG and YouTube failed to come to terms on a new deal.
