Mr G releases controversial single

With the success of last year's Summer Heights High, it was only a matter of time before a novelty single was lifted from the brilliant series.

And here it is. According to EMI Music, the "success" of "Mr G The Musical", the high school musical named after himself, Summer Heights High's drama teacher has teamed up with some high profile producers, including Paul Mac, to record a dance version of the song, 'Naughty Girl'.

According to the press release, the song, sung by Mr G, "describes the plight of a promiscuous young girl with an addiction for recreational drugs"… but as you will hear, Mr G is a little less subtle in his description of the ill-fated teenager.

While Chris Lilley, the man behind Mr G and his SHH co-stars Jaime and Jonah, doesn't commonly do interviews out of character, EMI have released a Q&A interview with him in character as Mr G. to find out why he thinks he looks like Justin Timberlake and can sing better than Darren Hayes.

Mr G is awesome! I LOVE the show and the song. The show is funny and entertaining and the song has a good beat and it is a bit humorous as well. So for all i care, others who hate it don't diss it just cause your not into simply don't watch it or listen to it. Peace Out!

I love the show and the song. I think that some people may find the song offensive but you have to look at the whole show. He uses satire throughout the whole show and the song is no exception. I think Mr. G is great because he states the obvious and makes us change our ways.

American Idol judges would have raved about Beyonce's performance after she managed to make an on-stage fall look like part of the show.

During her Brazilian concert last week, Beyonce's super-high stilettos got the better of her as she took a tumble mid-song.

Luckily for her and unluckily for the front row that could have got a piece of the star, she narrowly avoided falling off the stage and quickly regained her balance to continue belting out the song, 'Irreplaceable'.

This is the second fall of Beyonce's to become a YouTube sensation. The first was captured during a show three years ago in Orlando with the singer faceplanting down a flight of stairs.

Justin Timberlake looked a little too comfortable in the blonde wig he wore last week to accept his 'Hasty Pudding Man of the Year' award from Harvard University.

Organisers said Timberlake was a "triple threat". "He sings, he dances and he goes straight to DVD," they said. The annual award is given to entertainers who have "made a lasting contribution to the world of entertainment".

JT also endured a roasting of people from his past including spoof versions of Madonna, 'N Sync and a fat-suited, pigtail-wearing Britney Spears.
