We're used to seeing fashion WTFs on the MTV VMAs red carpet - isn't the Grammys the ceremony where pop stars play it safe?

Katy Perry, Fergie and Nicki Minaj were just a few of the stars who wore ridiculous outfits on the Grammys red carpet - and we're not talking fabulous pop star-esque ridiculousness.

Katy decided to match her frock to her current gross blue-hued hair, but ended up looking more nann than newly-single woman.

Fergie wore a see-through dress with black knickers and Nicki literally rocked up with a priest. Stealing Gaga's Catholic-offending thunder perhaps?

Apparently Adele lost heaps of weight while she was out of action getting surgery on her throat. She's always looked stunning to us - but damn, she has nailed it on the Grammys red carpet!

The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer is up for six Grammys tonight, including Record and Song Of The Year, and is expected to win them all, as well as performing for the first time since her vocal chord surgery last year.

Her album 21 is expected to enjoy a surge in sales following the Grammys, which could push it to diamond status.
