Delta Goodrem has debuted the first single from her fifth studio album this morning and it's a change of musical direction for the 28-year-old singer.
'Heart Hypnotic' has "dance anthem" written all over it, a step away from Delta's trademark ballads and mid-tempo pop. It's reminiscent of David Guetta and Kelly Rowland's 'When Loves Takes Over' could it finally be Delta's US crossover hit? Listen above and decide for yourself!
On Friday, Delta teased fans with a preview video of her working with OneRepublic singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder on the track. Fans of The Voice will remember Ryan as a mentor on Team Delta during the Battle Rounds.
"When you're working with someone as good as she is, the issue is more how do you rein it in, but I'm really happy because it's turning out great," Ryan says of Delta in the clip.
In the song, Delta sings of overcoming heartbreak to find new love. We wonder if it's about anyone in particular?
Delta will perform the track on tonight's Voice grand finale, which will also feature performances by OneRepublic, 'Blurred Lines' hit-maker Robin Thicke, and Voice coach Ricky Martin. For more details on the show, visit thevoice.com.au.
Ricky Martin also debuted his new song 'Come With Me' in time for The Voice finale, revealing it to fans last Friday. Listen below:
