In October, Irish pop group Westlife announced that they were calling it quits after 14 years and more than 44 million records sold worldwide. In an official statement, Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan said: "The decision is entirely amicable and after spending all our adult life together so far, we want to have a well-earned break and look at new ventures." It will be a long farewell though, Westlife embark on their final tour in May 2012.
