We've been digging Ben Harper's new band, Ben Harper & Relentless7, for a while now. Harper, guitarist Jason Mozersky, drummer Jordan Richardson and bassist Jesse Ingalls released their first album recently, White Lies for Dark Times, and it definitely brings out Harper's heavy side, with tunes that channel Jimi Hendrix and the Stones.

There was a bit of a hoo-ha over Easter when Ben Harper returned to our shores for his almost annual trip. This time the undisputed messiah of laid-back, chilled out, coastal blues was sporting a brand new band.
