Kudos to new judge
Jay Dee (who I'm henceforth referring to as JD, because typing those extra four letters hurts my delicate fingers) for handling his first live episode of
Australian Idol with calm grace. If I were in his seat I'd've been crapping myself.
Big changes are afoot this year: JD has, of course, taken over from Kyle; Andrew G is hosting the show solo for the very first time (okay, perhaps with a little help from Ricki-Lee); and the rules have changed so that you kids at home don't have to wait till the end of the show before you can vote. Surely that advantages the contestants who sing earliest, but whatever.
